The Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS) Program is a scholarship program offered by the Government of Ontario to support graduate studies in any field of study at a publicly funded university in Ontario, Canada. The OGS Program is open to Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and international students who are pursuing a Master’s or Doctoral degree.

The OGS Program provides recipients with up to r for Master’s students and up to $35,000 per year for Doctoral students. Eligibility for Ontario Graduate Scholarship (OGS) Program

To be eligible for the OGS Program, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Must be enrolled in a Master’s or Doctoral program at a publicly funded university in Ontario, or have an offer of admission to such a program;
• Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or international student;
• Must have achieved a minimum of A- (80%) average, as determined by their university, in each of the last two years of full-time study or equivalent.

1. Apply for admission to a graduate program at a publicly funded university in Ontario, or be currently enrolled in a graduate program at such a university;
2. Submit the OGS application form and the required documents, which may include transcripts, a CV, letters of recommendation, a research proposal, and a personal statement;
3. Apply by the deadline, which is typically in the fall.

The selection process for the OGS Program is competitive, and the selection criteria include academic excellence, research potential, and a demonstrated commitment to their field of study. The scholarship recipients are announced in the spring.
