When we were young most soft drink ads hard “liquid content only” written on it, they were making it clear that what you really pay for and what you really get is the liquid content, not the bottle and this is very similar with relationships and marriage.
When you pick someone to marry even though you like their coca-cola bottle shape or figure, the main thing you will live with is their character, their internal qualities though not immediately visible, it’s what will last and determine the quality of the relationship and more.
Though both sexes look at the shape but men are generally more guilty of this, they just look at the ladies complexion or shape and say “you are my wife”.
I have counselled a LOT of men that have chosen a woman they haven’t even spoken to as their wife just by her looks. Men you need to understand that you are largely visually stimulated so don’t let that fool you to think you are in love.
Scriptures address this in Proverbs 31 :30 – Charm is deceitful and beauty fades; but a woman who fears the Lord shall be praised.
Beauty and charm are not bad just that they will fade or deceive you to think you have found the love of your life.
The bible says there are more important qualities to look out for and I addressed this in my books
